Anyone know how to configure zone alarm pro, to make it allow the remote desktop from win xp pro to work?

WHich way? How are the two computers networked together and what protections are on each computer? Who's the client/server?

Make your LAN a trusted zone and allow all is the easiest way.

Computer you are going into is the server, computer you are doing it from is the client. You need to allow TCP 3389 out from the client and in to the "server" (the PC you want to control)

Yep, I use both and don't have any problems. You just have to allow the desktop host access to the network/Interent. I use it everyday and have zero problems. I use both the client program and the web client.
