    :mamoru:

Zaino--and to be quite frank, most other sealants as well:

    Carnauba Moose:

The difference in depth should be obvious.

TigerMike used to be a Zaino shill but got tired of the game (he even called out BlkZ28conv on being a shill too). Seems he has realized that Duragloss products are eerily similar to Zaino and half the price.

I agree with him on CS though, at least the appearance. I put it on over Werkstatt's Prime and was like "is that IT?", especially since at the same time I had used Opti-Seal over Prime and thought "Damn!!!!!". Durability, I don't know. I had it on a customer's hood (OS on the other half) and both were holding up fine at the 6 week point when I put OS on the whole vehicle.

If I was going to do that, I'd just use ZAOI and not mess with Z2 or Z5.

Both are black Lexus's (or Lexi?) and Lexus paint quality is pretty consistant. The exposure of the first pic is a bit jacked but that is still typical of how a lot of sealants look on solid black. Great look on silver, pearls and light to medium metallics but I find that silvery sheen (Klasse SG is absolutely the worst in that regard) very off-putting.

Just thought it was funny that someone who uses Zaino would use THAT picture in a thread about black paint to try and convince someone that they should use Zaino.

Hell, he should have used my shots of a black S550 I did this past spring with ZAIO/Z5.

Those pics pretty much sum of the difference. Then it's just preference after that.

Polished with Optimum Polish using a yellow Meguiars polishing pad and my UDM, then waxed with Carnauba Moose.

awesome. I used to have some s100 and was totally amazed by the result. And all i did was wash and wax. i've lost my s100 now. But I'm going to order some more s100, CM, and VM. I still like my poorboys tho, Could i polish and then hit it with the VM or CM, then hit it with the exp sealant to lock it all in?
    Thank ya

Use Vanilla Moose as your final polish and finish with Carnauba Moose. CMW is actually more durable for me than EX-P.

If you have a dark car, go with RMG (Red Machine Glaze) instead of Vanilla Moose. It gives amazing depth.
