In excellent/like new condition..decent price?
Also, what's C&R mean?
I just paid 149 so I'd say yeah. The "unissued" have dried up seemingly so thats a decent price for EX/LN.
Curio & Relic
It means if you are a Curio And Relic license holder you can actuall yhave it shipped directly to you instead of through an FFL. But hell, you can get Yugo SKS's all the time for about $100-110. Id wait. I got mine at Dunhams for $109.99, and it was in pretty good condition. They are so easy to find.
Do i need this type of license to purchase an SKS online? jgsales has 'em for 159 in great condition and I wanna pick one up
Without it you will just have to ship through an FFL like normal thats all. But if you do a lot of milsurp collecting and shooting, than a C&R is the way to go. Plus, you can have full autos with those. I know a few guys with Mp40's that way.
word. i think i'm gonna go down to daytona tomorrow and pick one up
The SKS i take it? They are great, fun to shoot, easy to modifiy if thats your thing and ammo is cheap too.
Cheap ammo... if you can find it.
When I bought my SKS the guy at the store could only sell me 100 rounds of wolf. That was the limit per customer. I guessing because they can't keep it in stock like everyone else.
FYI: When I went to JG the lesser graded SKS's have a hand select option. You start with a basic 99.95 and then for 10 extra dollars you can get what they believe to be a rifle in better shape, then for another 10 dollars you can get one that is close to the EX/LN condition, you just dont get the accessories.
go to aimsurplus.com
they have excellent cond. SKS 59/66's for 129.99
u can get one in "good" condition for like 100 there too
No shit? What's the cutoff date on the weapons that can be purchased with the C & R?
I think it's like 1889-1948 or somthing. I'm not quite sure.
Nevermind, here's somthing from a website:
Thanks for the info.
I love how the Garand gets its own special line
