    Normally I could care less how someone diets/lifts, but he is a physical therapy major, tells his girlfriend constantly how "this is his ultimate goal" while pointing out <6% bodyfat BBers at 230some pounds.
    He complains on leg day and always has "sweet story from last weekend" to tell me RIGHT before I start a set.

    UGH. :ugh:

    Its usually fine because he just tags along when me and my training partner lift, but said partner has a meeting tonight, so I'm stuck in brosville on leg day. Fuck. :madfawk:

    Its not that he doesn't know its wrong, he's just one of those weekend lifter types. Not really a good person to be working out with, but I don't want to make my time spent in my room uncomfortable because he takes offense to me critcizing his hypocrisies.

    i.e. Why I didn't laugh when he asked me to buy at least $75 worth of GNC supps so he could be spending over $150 total to get $15 off or some shit.

    damn, there's absolutely no reason I could think of for people to take supplements and eat those foods... having those foods automatically make you a fatty, and everybody knows that only the most dedicated of gym rats will benefit from supplementing... :rolleyes:

    Does he really think that all those supplements will make up for his lack of proper diet? Tell him that supplements will only work in conjunction with a proper diet. Even then most supplements are scams anyways.

    He comes out from the kitchen one morning after telling me how he's going to get serious about his diet and I see him with a white bagle w/ cream cheese. I'm like oh, ok not too bad.
    He goes back in right after he puts down the bagel, opens the microwave, and struts out with his celeste pepperoni pizza at 7:30am. Winner winner chicken dinner.

    Honestly, who the shit cares. If he doesn't want to lift and better himself, more power to him. It's not for everybody. A lot of the guys I have lifted with over the past few years have all gone about shit different than I have. Some of them have gotten great results, others not so much. Some have quit, some haven't. If you like him, put up with his shit. If not, tell him to shut up about it and get on with your day.

    Its the fact that he actively talks about how ripped he's going to be, how he's aiming for this bodybuilder-like-body, and the amount of times I have to listen to him talk about wanting me to buy supps with him.

    I've done the same thing with BJJ and lifting. Either you get tired of their shit and tell them to fuck off, or you just put up with it because they're a decent training partner/friend.

    Those are your options.

    i'm about to eat a peanut butter sandwich + tuna and gulp it down with 2 cups of milk. it's pretty barftastic but i imagine that it's a slice of pizza with bacon on it.
