A biomech piranha feeding frenzy, 1/2 sleeve on my arm.

I do own a piranha and the fish does hold a special meaning for me, in a large part it's why I moved from PA to Chicago.

Just not sure how it would come out but that's for the artist to figure out :mamoru:

Really just throwing ideas around and that's the only one that is sticking right now, appt is on Jan 23rd so have plenty of time :o

why so long from now? sounds like a pretty cool idea, im surprised your artist didn't ask for the idea before you had the session scheduled though

He books about 2-3 months out + the wife and I are skipping gifts this year and getting tattoos for each other for Xmas.
The two weekends before that are the NFL playoffs so I can't risk those in case the Eagles would play + I don't want to miss any of the games regardless :o
This will be my 8th tattoo by him so I don't think he worries too much about any ideas beforehand, wife just told him to book us for the whole day :o

Ya does sound good, a violently beautiful image came up once I read 'piranah' + 'half sleeve'

Oh you're in Chicago eh? I was there for 23years and have gone to two places. Tomato Tattoo and Tatu Tatu.

Tomato had excellent customer service but was quite pricey. They take their time, their store is pretty clean and professional, yet, they aren't as known as Tatu Tatu. Tatu Tatu is kinda THE place in Chicago and is where I got my half sleeve with color. There's a lot of hype to this place and I'm not so sure they enirely live up to it. I mean they did Greenday's, Rodman, Jordan (with pics to prove) but I think a few of their artists are just 'ehhhh' from what I've seen. BUT, I do advise going there and picking a good artist, have them draw up a sketch and move slow... it's gonna be bad ass I know it.
    Peace+

Thanks and all but I'm more then happy with my guy at Deluxe Tattoo. And on a sidenote, none of the artists at Deluxe are ehhhh, I would recommend any of them.
And on another sidenote, who cares what celebrities were tattooed there. Angelina Jolie got a tattoo from a guy at Deluxe, big deal.

I care. Don't ever deny the reputation of a shop. If Jolie got ink from there it doesn't say anything about Jolie (who's talking about her anyway? And your statement only makes sense if we were) but it says a lot about the artist, which is important to know. Search "tattoo shops" on the web to see people's opinions, you base opinions on judgements of what-you-know of the place.

Glad you scored a straight place.

Did someone just speak on behalf of most celebs and every artist they use? Get real.

I just went through Tatu Tatu's site... 4 out of 13 of their artists look good. That's just ridiculous. Reputation doesn't mean shit if your artists aren't good. A shop can get a great reputation if 10 celebrities all get tattooed there. Doesn't mean they're a good shop!
