your opinions gentlemen please (cut)

    im 6 foot 3, 21y/o and weigh 200lbs, im guessing im a mesomorph.. this is what i've done/eaten today:

    im aiming to achieve loss of fat but without too much loss of muscle, this is the first day of my diet so its pretty new to me, and im just looking for some critisism which im sure you guys will have for me :rofl:

    also with the sscv, i realise 20mins isnt brilliant but i plan on uppiing it by 2 mins each day, until i reach about 40-50

    6'3 at 200 lbs and cutting? I think you need to add some muscle first.

    Lol compared to most people first fitday posts, yours is actually pretty good. I say keep your diet how it is and just lift heavy weights. You'll most likely gain muscle and lose alot of fat.

    i play basketball so it is sort of aimed around that, i figure if i cut down properly then i can clean bulk easier, i don't like fat :rofl:

    It depends on your goals and how much body fat you can tolerate.

    I started my cut at 6'3" 197lb (this is my 3rd time cutting though) and I easily could have justified bulking for another year or so, but 18% body fat is no fun especially during the summer.

    There's nothing wrong with him cutting down to low double-digit body fat, then clean bulking his way up from there.

    didn't know that.. I need to see how much bf% im actually at, im not sure but id put myself around 16% atm, i guess

    got back from the gym, did a bf calipers + machine, puts me at 16.3% bodyfat, so i wasnt far off :big grin:

    im 203lbs and 6'2.9"

    my goal is about 11% BF

    I think i might be eating a bit too much fat if i want to lose weight, opinions?

    The amount of fat (~80g) isn't that bad, but I think you would benefit from healthier fats (e.g. peanut butter, omega 3's, etc.)

    yeah, i need to pick up some flaxseed oil, too, most of the fat is from the meat and the eggs, im just using 3 eggs atm yolks and all, might cut them out and replace them with something else, pb perhaps
