Like any comparison, I realize the word "best" is a very weak word, so I just ask you what your opinions are for what you have, or have tried.
Some claim to be brighter, others claim to have more life to their lights. Some dont even have lights in their sights at all, just glowing paint. But mainly what I'm looking for here are opinions on the tritium night sights made from glass/plastic with gasses in them to create light.

I have trijicon's on my sig and meps on my walther. The walthers have a nice big white circle around the tritium vial that really makes me more visible in the day to me. I will buy meps in the future.

So you're saying, for the sake of ease during the day, that you feel the Meprolights have an advantage over the Trijicons?

They're both good, I use both. Carry guns are currently wearing XS Big Dots (which use Trij lamps).

Between Trijicon and Mepro's I prefer Mepro's. Just got home from an 8 hour low light/night fire course and they worked great. They aren't quite as fast as the XS Big Dots on my 1911 tho.

I just might have to look into these XS Big Dots I'm hearing about.

I perfer meps as well, but for some reason the ones I bought for my glock 19 arent as bright as the ones on my kimber (factory installed) and the ones I bought for my USP. Just must be a bad batch or something.

I have numerous pairs of both on various applications. Both are high quality. The Mepros are uniformly brighter than the Trijicons.

If I may make a different suggestion....Take a look at Tru-Glo. They are big with the XD guys, and catching on with glocks too. They offer a model with tritium AND fiber fiber optic. SUPER bright during day, and bright in the dark too.
