I like to take photographs that allow people to know when it was taken. I photograph the souvenir stand at ball games because the jerseys and t-shirts for sale are always different. I like to take photos with stuff like billboards in the background. I take photos in the city of sites before and after construction. I hope to be able to show off photos of 60-70 year old cars.

I used to just shoot pictures for the fun of it without any theme. I was going through my grandpa's old photos one day and I saw a picture of him standing in the middle of a street. There was a billboard in the background advertising how the Dionne quintuplets http://tinyurl.com/5pofak were coming to town. I distinctly remember thinking how that was cool and since then my theme is to get photos that where the viewer can tell when I shot the photo.

Kinda long post, but do you have a common theme when you take photos?

I actually started thinking about shooting with a theme as well. I love checking out ppl's photo collections that have a theme.

it absolutely does... cool. if it weren't for the things int he background, it'd be easy to believe it's an old shot. i was just sort of making fun of the previous shot because it had a date stamp, despite the retro attempt
