C/C is welcome I guess, but I just wanted to see some stuff you guys have done.

This one is my favorite. It was shot with my A75 before I had the XTi, but it still looks pretty good. :o

how do you ditch individual channels? I do it the old school way of two layers and the erase tool. :hs:

You can choose individual channels with the hue/sat channel mixer in photoshop. It's best to do so on a new mask layer so you can mask off certain areas you don't want done because it's tricky to target certain saturation channels perfectly.

Here, this literally took 10 seconds. I de-masked a couple of leaves too just to show that you can.

its pretty basic, go to develop, you can take a whole color and do it or even use the targeted adjustment tool and do it that way

I must acquire this Lightroom you speak of. That picture above took me an eternity.

I also used the blur tool to make the car pop out as well.

Worst case scenario you could use one of the lasso tools to select around the car. What took you so long to do it?

I could still use an edu I guess, but the only way I've known how to do it to desaturate the picture and then use the erase tool to recolor stuff.

To add to the above EDU, you have to change it from Master to one of the other colors (doesn't matter which one), and then click on the color in the picture you want to desaturate.
