I enjoy the fact that I live in the middle of nowhere (well, as close as you can get to it around here). Took a hike to the town's fire tower yesterday, here's a view of downtown.

Looks are deceiving. The first picture cuts out the bottom 1/4th of the tower, so it's actually a bit taller than it looks. It sits on top of, what is close to, highest point in town.

Scared to death of heights. Lived there for 10 years and yesterday was the first time I actually went to the top >.<

Main street would be the third picture :p

I live in Northampton MA with Stubby77

It's a very quaint New England town...

    with LOTS of lesbians...

and the beautiful Connecticut River that separates New Hampshire and Vermont and then comes down through MA and CT, to the New York bay...

And several gay men here and there...

And with five colleges within a ten minute drive from the center, we have a TON of college students...

And a huge artisan community, focused on music, art and sculpture

It's a gay mecca tucked in the western part of Massachusetts.

    Come visit us anytime, guys!

It's not really all that interesting, but we do have nice buildings here and there. And we have the Barrio Húmedo, which I think is pretty interesting on its own if you want to drink, meet people, dance or whatever.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrio_Humedo

The city is full of old people (by that I mean 60+), which sucks a little, but at night it's rare to see anyone over 30, kinda weird.

My house would be in the center of the pic, far right hand side.

25th street. Lots of movies have been done here. There are apparently tunnels under this road connecting that tall building in the middle of the pic to the Union Station that is behind the photographer.

This has also been in some movies. I have heard that it only cost $1 million when it was built. Any guesses as to what movies?

For Ryan. The Union Station from the other pic can be seen on the left of this pic. The building saw tons of traffic during Ogden's younger time but sits mostly unused now. IMHO, UDOT fucked up when they put the commuter rail about a half of a block north. They should have used the old building and let it be useful again.

Oh, how I miss Pinedale. Didnt think I would when I left but I really do. 1500 people, total. This pic is pretty much the east end of town. It extends about ten blocks to the west.
