    best:
    kimura from bottom holding guard.

when they situp i like to attack an arm and sweep with the hip bump. if they defend that sweep, ill usually fall back and attack that same arm with a kimura instead.

    worst:
    triangle from bottom

i think i may telegraph it too much, and i also havent figured out a good double move to set it up properly.

best: anything I am lucky enough to pull off, usually some sort of choke.

worst: arm bars from guard - damn hard for me to pull off on a larger opponent (this is just about anyone)

    best: probably RNC.

worst: any kind of ankle lock. and those are the kind i fear the most. my ankles are a little jacked from skateboarding and if anyone tried to pull one of those one me, ill panic and freak out.

Best - Taking the back from guard... from there usually RNC.

Worst - Kimura (getting done to me lol) I'm too much of a pussy to defend it because I've separated my shoulder so many times that I just freak out when someone starts to set it in. :(

Brabo choke hands down. I love the darce grip > brabo or from half guard when guy on bottom gets up on his shoulder and reaches for your foot to sweep.

I like the anaconda choke, but I dont use it much at all.

i just pulled off my first guillotine in training this past week.

i was never formally trained it and i never wanted to go for it. i dont like the idea of putting myself on my back and straining an arm choke that may not work.

well, this past week, my partner went for a double leg and left his neck out there with way too much space. i cinched his neck in a headlock, moved the right hand to the front to make sure i didnt have one of his arms in between, fell back, locked up guard, and lifted.. he was tapping mad quick. :run:

You inspired me to learn more about the Brabo... I've never done it. I like it :bigthumb:

How do you get someone in a guillotine starting in guard? Seems like they'd have to give it you on purpose or fall asleep

I don't really know how to explain . The techniques that I've been shown just seem to come easy to me since I'm a smaller guy :dunno:

i usually try to do a sweep, and if he pushes me back with his hips i'll throw one of my arms around the back of his neck and sneak my other arm under his armpit (though i sometimes can get it directly to my hand) and clasp them together tight.... then extend my body and make sure his neck is getting squeezed.....you can see how to do it in the BJ Penn 101 thread

    edit -
oh yeah...sometimes i'll go for it and mess up real bad, but its still one of my more favorite moves to do...usually i'll try to distract him while i attempt the sweep, which will usually result in him pushing back and exposing his head a little....

I sometimes do the opposite. Start the choke and get them to focus on that so I can sweep them. Usually from half gaurd though, more than full gaurd.

Do some focused sparring with it, and start your rounds on the bottom in half gaurd. The more work you do the better you'll get.
