Concord police say young mother and a suspected robber killed in robbery Associated Press - December 24, 2007 9:44 AM ET CONCORD, Calif. (AP) - Concord police are trying to piece things together after 17-year-old mother and a suspected robber were killed in an apparent home invasion robbery. Investigators say the teen was shot and killed in her townhome by an intruder armed with a rifle early yesterday morning. When officers arrived, they found two bodies inside the home. One has been identified as the suspected robber -- 22-year-old Sean Nathaniel Nelson of Concord. Police say he was killed after being subdued by the brother of the victim. Police haven't determined how Nelson died, but say he was not shot. The name of the young mother has not been released. Police say during the robbery, a man and a woman waited outside in car.
