Yeah, not so good job. Just goes to prove that being promoted in the Air Force isn't hard. It's the fact that airman do not take the time to study and score below 50% on test that cover basic military knowledge and career field specific knowledge.

The "career field specific knowledge" on our tests has nothing to do with our career field.

I probably would have done better if I had studied at least once, or if I had retained a supervisor that actually knew me at my last base.

Typical excuses. The skt is all information found in your CDC's. Study, study, and study some more. I scored a 93 on the PFE and a 89 on the SKT after being in the Air Force for 9 months. Airman that complain about how hard it is to get promoted in the Air Force only have themselves to blame.

Excuses for what? I DIDN'T FUCKING TRY. :ugh:

The only reason I'd want to put on staff now is for the pay, I'm already way too far behind on my training... and the last thing I need is to babysit a bunch of people while trying to catch up myself.

you will get it next year bro you are going to gain 8 more pts for TIS and TIG plus if you get another good EPR in the system
that alone will get you the stripe if your cut off doesnt change

they only promote about 37 out of 108 in my afsc everyyear and our cutoff this year was like 267 or something

Shows how little you know. 300 of the 800 possible Army promotion points come from civilian and militay education. Another 300 points are derived from job performance evaluations and a promotion board. The final 200 points come from awards, badges, weapons qualifications, and PT. If you want to make a dumbass statement at least know what you are talking about. The Army promotion system is more well rounded than the Chair Force system.
