Any issues with the license plate being that close to the hugger? Does it ever bottom out?

This plate bracket doesn't bottom out -- it's routed from .080 aluminum and mounts in the passenger peg holes. I made a plate bracket for a GSX-R 1000 that mounts from the hugger up -- that one rubs the undertail when he has a passenger.

No one noticed the Marchesinis? :hs:

First thing I noticed, and easily the most expensive addition to that bike. Good job, looks dope. Has that stealth look to it. :coolugh:

I agree -- the carbon fibre Akrapovic is gorgeous, but the shorty version isn't available yet. I don't want a huge pipe coming up the side.

    Here's the shorty titanium version:

I have the red gsxr600 and I still can't find a can that I think looks better than stock, they all look terrible (to me) :(

Think I might just have to stick with the stock one.

Akrapovic makes some really nice carbon fiber parts, including a replacement heat shield for the stock pipe. I've considered that. I like the sound of the stock pipe.
