When you go to order 500 rounds of 5.56 and you find out that they just sold out, and they dont know when they are going to get any more in :madfawk:

I contemplate getting a mini-14, plus my dealer has the 20rd ruger mags in stock. How do you like yours?

Don't do it if you want an accurate rifle.

It's reliable for dicking around but out of the box shoots like 10inch groups.

Agreed especially after owning one, tons of other 5.56 rifles I'd buy long before another mini.

Friend has a 30 other then the fact the mags are ridiculously priced it seems better then the 14, its no tack driver but it does seem to shoot more consistently then the 14 I had.

Still wouldnt buy one can get a real nice AK for the price of a mini and a couple ruger mags.

That is why I  at those that buy them. I havent done a side by side, but it seems that overall, the AK would be the better deal, especially since you are not going to buy either of them for the accuracy.
