The fact that they never wrapped up the "Benny" storyline, where he's a scifi author in the 40s. That was a really interesting trick, and then they just let it go unresolved. :hs:

You know you there isn't a real DS9 thread in this forum :dunno: . Well that I could find anyways.

I am watching Shark now, pretty short series so far i think. So DS9 shouldn't be too far off.

    If Enterprise is a 9/10, then DS9 is a 12.

I must be the only trek guy who really didn't love ds9. The highest praise I can give it is that it was better than voyager.

To each his own, I guess. But it seems to me that DS9 is better OBJECTIVELY. The characters were better developed, the acting was better, the writing was internally consistent, the story was better developed, etc.

I'll be starting it as soon as I finish the originals. I'm almost done with S2 now.

 Thankfully I watched Enterprise before I watched Quantum Leap. So Bakula was a hardass to me. Then going and watching him as the happy-go-luck-do-gooder in Quantum Leap.....:hsugh:

 Well the first time I saw Captain Sisko, he was Hawk, from Spenser:For Hire. He was the ass kicking backup for Robert Urich. So I was all ready for him to be badass in DS9.

Watched E03 today, Sisco didn't seem like he had something shoved up his ass anymore :dunno:

Maybe he was just awful in the first episode.

:werd: He was all uptight about meeting Picard, because he killed Sisko's wife when he was Locutus. :noes: I loved that scene.

    "I am Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the ... "
    "We've met."
    "Have we?"
    "Yes. At Wolf 359."
    "... :o"

Just finished E11. Odo and Quark are definitely my two favourite characters.

Holy crap you watch your shows fast!

Odo/Quark, Garak/Bashir, and O'Brien/Bashir are my favorite character interactions.

Bashir is pretty awesome too :coold: . He reminds of my Baltar (BSG) so damned much. Looks like him, sounds like him, and he sure loves his women like him.

 When I started watching BSG, I had to look at IMDB to see if Baltar was the same actor.

The friendship between O'Brien and Bashir is one of the most important things to pay attention to as the show goes on. Ditto Jake and Nog, Odo and Quark.
