    I am not sure how accurate this website is, but it says you can burn over 1000 calories in an hour doing this stuff.

    thinking about yoga in general to increase/maintainflexibility... fuck doing it on the surface of the goddamn sun though.

    I'm shocked that there isn't a ton of hate here. I'm afraid that i'll pass out and barf when there are 110 lb girls powering through it.

    Never done the Bikram stuff, but heard good things.

    I did a couple classes of regular yoga at my University. Wish I could do it more often. Helps a lot with flexibility and makes my back/shoulder injuries (from the past) feel 10 x better.

    I don't know that I'd want to spend 90min in a room of 115 degrees though. If that was the case I'd just vacation in Arizona in July.

    There's a Bikram place near me that does it without the heat stuff but it's ridiculously expensive.

    my first time i was cocky thinking, wtf, its just stretching, how hard can this be? yeah, i should have paced myself, i couldnt make it through the entire 90 minutes. definitely dont try and over-do yourself at the start.

    I do it for an hour and a half twice a week....hot chicks in the classes always....It has helped me with my back rehab tremendously....Also helped in my weight loss as well...Down 70 pounds in 7 months...

    i do yoga all the time but its just shit i learned from vinyasa and hatha classes i took, you can pretty much do it on your own after you learn it

    Wait what it cant be bikram because bikram is with the heat lol

    My friend just started it said he feels great a week after, he's heard things like it elongates your body and a combination of lifting+yoga makes you stronger

    There's a local Bikram place and when I read about it, I didn't see anything about heat.

    Edit: Nevermind, it is heated. It says "hot yoga" on the website. I just checked and they seem to have lowered their price. Only $10 per class if you're a student (if I read correctly). If that's the case, maybe I'll try it a couple of times.
