You can't remember what is in what? That's what I get for having 3 computers in my room.
That's what the device manager is for
If you want specific cpu and RAM information CPU-Z will do the job too.
My problem is that I have so many parts and junk laying around that I don't know what to do with. And I know the day after I throw someting out, I'll need it...
I lost count how many NIC cards I have.....
sometimes I forget that I put some hardware in a computer.
I put some extra RAM in a P3 system, that I'd forgot for a couple of years. and a 10/100 PCI network card for a couple of months
Same here, I got one with my ISP's install kit, got another for my dad's computer, got another for my computer without onboard, and another for this and that...
I know the specs of all 7 computers in the house though.
I never do, I have a photographic memory .
network interface card cards
I used to love building computers, but now I hate it, I do not even like the process of upgrading a computer. I do like the benifitial effects afterwards though.
yeah taking things apart is no fun
specially when your case has too many cables
Learn cable management!
