Saw this on another forum... seems someone in that town asked the top-cop about the pic, and he basically said "yeah, she shoved the mag in backwards". Not to mention, that elbow sticking way out? That's just an invite to catch a bullet in a tactical setting.

I guess this is proof positive that not ALL Texans are good with firearms!

It looks kinda fake though... look at her finger in the closeup pic. Somethings not right about that.

A magazine won't go in the wrong way in an M4/AR/M16. Sure that isn't a second mag or some wierd brand?

It's possible... but it'd have to be a 30 attached to a 20. I don't see any tape, cinches, or clamps, either. I'm fairly sure you could get a mag to stick in there backwards, but you'd have to really jam it in there. Like, I'd expect that mag to be badly bent up, and hard to remove from there. Might also explain why it's not fully inserted and seated. I doubt she'd be able to get it in there more than a quarter of an inch or so.

One other thing to mention: WTF kind of shooting stance is that? It'd be OK if she was using an optic of some sort, but I seem to remember being taught to have your cheek against the stock, nose to the charging handle, so you get the same sight picture every damn time. She'd be lucky to hit the building like that!

Upon further inspection, if you look, you can see some inconsistencies in the image near the bottom of the magazine (blurred area that is not consistent with the rest of the photo). This leads me to believe this is a photochop.

yeah, I'm not seeing that. And seeing her form, I really wouldn't be surprised if this was real (that and the stories I've heard of the same thing happening).

It's a photochop. If you look at the zoomed portion, there is a wedge shaped blur about halfway down the (very long) magazine where it looks like it was blended, and below that it is misaligned with the top (look at her arm next to the magazine and follow the magazine down).

Plus really, if you have an AR just try it. You would have to hammer it in. The spine on the back of the magazine (among other things) won't let it go in backwards.

Like there's not enough real ones out there. Wasn't there a memo from some PD not long about about people sticking the magazines in upside down? And lets not forget the highly trained officers of the DEA.
