yeah... it will help w/ flexibility if you stick with it... it is harder than it looks, and you will be sore like no other the first few times b/c of all the holding of stretches.... i do it on and off, it's a workout in itself and really feels good after a while... getting flexible n such.

I tried it a couple times. Bought a book recently called extreme yoga.
Been stretching 20 min after every workout the last two weeks.

I do it for flexibility, holding the poses for about 20-30 seconds and then I'll also do regular stretching

I go twice a week for an hour, and it's a great workout for tone. Also, the stretch really helps after lifting heavy. I say go to the class and try it and decide yourself.

rickson endorses yoga. if one of the best grapplers in the world says it's helpful to him, something must be up.

I have done "power Yoga" a few times, and I really liked the way I felt afterwards....it wasn't exactly a hard workout but it made me feel calm and relaxed and all my muscles were nice and loose.

It's best to do it with an instructor (class setting) then it is on your own to make sure you're doing all the positions correctly.
