if you wanna see just how inflexible you are give it a shot.

I've been DVRing Namaste yoga off FitTV, a) the chicks are hot as hell, b) they do shit I cannot even come close to doing stretch wise.

Trying to hit the yoga up on non-lift days. Did my back day last night, this morning I was trying to stand on my left leg, head down by my knee, right arm pointed straight up, and right leg pointed towards the ceiling. Bitches on the show made it look effortless. FFFFUUUUUUUUU

 I already know how inflexible I am. I need to start stretching but I never really think about it. There is no way I would make it through a yoga session.

might be a good way to pick up a chick, just not taking it so seriously and being a goof making fun of yourself for being so stiff. chicks always love a guy with a sense of humor..to be honest i wouldnt mind taking the class to get some good stretching in.

yeah chicks love it when you come into their class and half ass it and make a joke out of what some consider to be a very spiritual time for focus and self reflection

i think theyd be more inclined to bone him if he just broke down into tears when he tried to put his ass by his ears and he accidentally let one rip

I'm not trolling you, you just happen to make more than your fair share of non-related posts in this forum. Got a problem, GTFO and go cry to horsedick

My flexibility is horrible. I'm going to see if i can make it through a few weeks of Magnificent Mobility first. Then maybe move on towards a yoga class.

Went with my GF a few weeks back and it actually wasn't bad. There's some pretty whacky stuff as far as the "spirituality" aspect goes, which may or may not vary by teacher, but I can definitely see it helping overall in a weight training program.

I actually managed to do a pose where you balance on your hands and another where you lift your heels off the ground as far as possible in a squat position and hold (I knew calf workouts weren't just for aesthetics). The instructor dude actually came over to me on one of the hip stretches (which I need the most) and pushed me wayy beyond what I was comfortable with, in a way that didn't hurt, but the whole time I'm just thinking "don't let that fart go, don't let that fart go". Completely silent rooms ftl.

Just started yoga myself, been to 3 classes so far.

For my first class I went before a workout and treated it as a long warm up. Once the yoga was done though, I felt so peaceful. Was hard to get myself pumped up for the workout. Not that I'm one of those crazy fucks that yell and throw dumbbells across the room, just you know, get some blood/adrenaline pumping. Weird experience, I do yoga on off days now heh.

I've been meaning to try it for a while.

I am already pretty flexible, but I think yoga would help with my lower back and shoulder issues. I've it worked miracles for other people.

also, i'm kinda happy someone else started this thread.

I was going to start a yoga thread a few weeks back, and opted out of it to save my man card.

Blip, saving others man cards one thread at a time.

My next thread will be about my keigel routine.

Seriously, I'm not sure I'd jump right into a class, I'd probably blow a hammy trying not to puss out in front of other people. Starting in the privacy of your living room is probably your best bet til you limber up a bit.

    weaksauce.

Just go to a class and stop acting like a little girl. Everybody starts somewhere, you'll be much better off in a class than watching some yoga video.
