So does anyone here use this program? If so I've got a few questions about it that I can't figure out.

I've used it in the past, what are the questions though?

Yeah, I remember it being buggy when I tried it. It sometimes converted all my backgrounds to a dark gray even when I told it to preserve my original background.

How do you go about telling it to preserve the original backround? I couldn't find anything like that

Just installed on my XP machine. It was decent on Vista. It is slow on XP, but I opted to pseudo-remove animations by setting them to max speed, and turning off transparency. Not as good as Beryl, but it's decent.

I haven't used it on Vista yet but on my XP machine it runs pretty smooth. I would have expected it to be slower on Vista.

I have a decent system (Opty 170 @ 2.7, 2 GB RAM, ATI X1900XT) and it is very choppy on XP. It ran silky smooth on Vista, but it was terrible compared to Beryl.
