I'm working on getting in better shape, I've joined the gym, I'll be going 3-5 times a week, but I need help with what to eat. I've already cut fast food out entirely, I'm eating a lot leaner meats (chicken, lean steak & beef) having fruit instead of sweets, no soda, lots of water/juice.

What else should I be looking out for? I've never been big on snacks, I usually ate like twice a day which I'm trying not to do. I'm trying to eat 5 or 6 times a day in small portions as opposed to stuffing myself twice a day like I used to.

    Anything else? :x:

Not all of that sounds good.

I've been told that bread and pasta are full of carbs which aren't a good idea for losing weight.

    I'm just asking questions. :dunno:

Is there some reference as to how much of what I should be taking in? That's what I think I need.

In the stickies there is a refference to how much you should eat, whats your height and weight?
Generally people eat around 12xBW to loose fat.
