So recently I put in two 8" Kicker CVR8 (CompVR 8",. 200Watt RMS, 400 Watt Max, etc..) subwoofers in the trunk. Individual boxes so that I still have acces to the trunk from the rear seat (fold down thingy). The install came out clean but I had to do a few things afterwards..

First I had to remove the entire rear deck lid (you know, the "deck" under your rear window) and stuff it full of padding so that it stopped rattling. Second, I needed to keep the subs from moving around alot. I ended up cutting out 1/2" MDF wood and making a custom floor for the trunk. I cut it into pieces and glued it to the original "trunk mat" so that it looks stock, but can be moved and opened when I need to get to my spare tire, or for some reason remove the whole thing.

Here are the two subs -- I still need to hide the speaker wires, but at least the rest of the wiring is hiden

Here is the custom portion of my trunk -- I have the MDF fold up so that it gives me access to the spare tire -- but when its down it gives me a really solid surface that is very clean looking.

nice subs! IMO your car would look better without the bra on the front.

The bra is 99% for the damn california freeways -- anyone who lives near 280 knows what i am talking about. My car is not even 2 yeras old (ok, 2months away) and the front bumper/hood are covered in rock chips. Thanks for the comment on the subs -- they are friggen awesome, way better than i expected.

Nice car. You should paint ur side skirts when u you can. I think it'd add a lot to the overall look. Why not put on one of those clear stick on bra stickers? Or just buy the clear stickers in bulk, cut, and stick it in problem spots? The bra is gonna mar the paint eventually...

    yeah, paint your sideskirts :)

otherwise looks good... I love rota subzeros :big grin:

The trunk install gives me ideas too.. I really need to redo all that shit but I'm more concerned with going faster right now. first I'm gunna do gauges and a few odds and ends and then I'm going with an accessport :)
