Necessity is the mother of invention, but not always aesthetics.

It looks a hell of alot better than an SRB gun:

I'd rather have the U-15 than the SRB. The SRB looks like it'd be extremely uncomfortable to hold.

Doesn't look comfortable but I'd rather worth off that idea and come up with some other style grip that maybe could mate up with the A2 stock.

correct, but since the U-15 and the buffer tube never connect, it cannot be considered a pistol grip. Under the eyes of the law, that stock is exactly the same as the stock of a SA M1A or a garand.

and +1 to that Aequitas, the SRB was good as a stop gap, but thats all it was IMHO until something like this or the MM grip could be made

one of those already exists, it is called the monsterman grip. Honestly, this one looks better and from the sound of if is more comfortable as well.

I was trying to picture something like that earlier and I think it'd just be way too bulky.

Thats what I figured had a couple different ideas in my head but they'd be classed as a T-hole stock.

I think it has been refined since then however, that is the earliest prototype.

After seeing the pic with the guy shouldering the rifle with the U-15 stock it actually doesn't look too bad.

same here. I think I am going to start getting parts for my target gun now that I have found a stock that I could actually use.

you clearly dont understand just how little earthquakes actually damage buildings. Hell, the last big one in Norcal was back in 1989.

I find it hard to believe that is at all comfortable.

You are gripping with your fingers only.
