i'd love to see an apple phone.

...as long as it was really apple designed hardware AND software and not just apple designed hardware with an apple theme on motorola's software or something like that. as much as i love my moto V551, the interface design/menu heirarchy could use a lot of work. same goes for most multi-function phones.

good. flip phones suck. One more hinge to break, and they're fatter. Much rather stick with something slim.

this doesn't look like the Mac OS-phone integration people have been hoping for, though :hs: just seems to be an iTunes-compatible phone :dunno:

i.e. it's no space station :hs:

fuck that. I thought itd be something cool, its just a lame phone with iTunes capability.

I want a phone that looks like an ipod and is just a god damn phone and not an mp3 player. :x:

appleinsider.com claims that those are NOT pics of the actual phone. So there is still hope that the real phone looks more apple-like.

    hmm...

have to wait and see on this one. since it's their first phone effort, i'm really curious to see what it ends up looking like. i'm going to assume it will have a top notch screen, megapixel or better camera and a very elegant and easy to use GUI.

i will defeinitely be holding off any phone purchases until it's out though. :)

Unless it's a flip, I will probably be passing.

i predict that if it's a flip, it will be aluminum and look similar to a mini powerbook enclosure. :)

perhaps the RAZR V3 was a test of the materials to be used for the Apple phone.

The hope is that it will have all that stuff, not just be a Motorola phone that iTunes can be used on. It can't be too nice because they said they didn't want it to be $500, they wanted it in the mid-price range.

    thanks. :)

the perspective is a little off on the external display and the key pad, but you get the general idea of what i'm hoping to see. :bigthumb:
