I've been saying for years UFC Champs are Overrated!
Franklin is the first one to Fall.
Hughes,Sylvia,Chuck will follow as soon as they get some real fighters to fight against instead of someone that is not in their weightclass or is a can. BJ
Penn is the exception to this and we know how he was dominating Hughes till he gassed (got hurt or whatever)

I'm glad Silva won even though I picked Rich, he really showed the strength of his Muay Thai. AMAZING. AMAZING. Wow.

Sherk had me jumping up and down, I loved watching him dominate Ken-Flo.

Best UFC event I can remember, ever. I'll be suprised if after next week I think the Pride event was better than this UFC.

using the logic "They'd kick your ass" to invalidate somebody's opinion is pure garbage. It's already more than obvious that Franklin and Silva could kick our asses. That's why they are/were ufc champions. Lol, why would you even ask why that comment makes you dumb? come back to reality man.

    QFT!
I never said I could beat any of them. I merely posted that they are overrated. They haven't fought any "Quality" fighters. Who has Hughes or Chuck beaten?
And no, I won't get an Avatar. It's my choice so deal with it, if that makes me a noob in your world so what? Who really gives a shit?

You don't think Hughes and Chuck have beat anyone worth mentioning? Not everyone can be Fedor. Hughes has beaten plenty of good fighters like BJ Penn, Carlos Newton, Hayoto Sakurai, Sean Sherk, and of course don't forget who everyone seems to think is the best fighter ever, GSP. As for Chuck your really think knocking out Randy Couture twice is nothing? He even knocked out Tito, Jeremy Horn, Kevin Randleman, Alistair Overeem, Guy Metzger, and Babalu (twice). I love Pride too and in my opinion the quality of fighters there is generally better, but to take credit away from great fighters because of it is stupid.

Dude, you are smoking crack. I just watched the fight. It was a GREAT fight. Franklin was fighting back the entire time. Silva's clinch is one of the best I have seen on any fighter, UFC, Pride or Muay Thai. Franklin was not overrated or even really outmatched he had the wrong game plan/strategy and got beat. Plain and simple. I think a rematch will be an even better fight.

P.S. Get off of Penn's nuts coz the fact is HE LOST! hahahahahahahahahah

Franklin wasn't fighting back. His leg kicks were visibly lighter and his knees from the clinch were weaker and showed how much trouble he was in. It was a pretty bad onesided beating that Rich wasn't ready for. His gameplan was totally wrong, and was expecting the clinch to be his strong point in the fight.

Not saying that Franklin was overrated, he was just outmatched and beaten badly.

Yeah, I expected Franklin to have a size and strength advantage that he'd use to push Silva around on the inside fighting. Silva's a good fighter and all, but I did not expect Franklin to get trapped helplessly in a clinch.

I think that was more a testament to Silva's clinch tecnique than Franklin being weak.

Watch again. Franklin was throwing both inside uppecuts and over hands to the outside even while being clinched. He also was able to throw knees. While not being terribly effective they did lesson the beating. My internal scorecard had it as a 10-9 round before the clinching began then a 10-8 until the stoppage.
