Does it work? If so then yes. For me I could care less if it looks like crap as long as it does it's job.

yeah it works. seems to be a nice tight fit haven't shot it yet to see if it loosens up. think i am going to look for an m3 to see which i like better. i am hoping the m3 sits a little farther back the switch on the sure fire is kinda a long reach compared to how it sits on my kimber

Despite the fact that it is big and bulky, it is practical; well, for home use anyway. I like the rail, but it wouldn't work for me. With my handguns, I like the availability to remove a light, and slip the firearm into a holster and be able to use it for CCW on a whim. When using that mount, my tastes are not an option.

I had a M3 a while back for my G23, and it was great b/c I could pop it on and off. I traded it for a Surefire, forget the model, but it was the one that had to be "mounted" via screws to the trigger guard. While it was a nice light, and suited my "bedside gun" great; however, there was a problem because it was impractical when I wanted to use my Glock for CCW. I'd have to undo the 4 screws in order to carry, then, to reattach the light, I'd have to go through the re-mounting process.

Soon, I'll get another light, but until that time, I have a 120 lumen Nitrolon beside my Glock. I'll get a x200 soon, but I'm in no rush. If the S really HTF, I do have my 870 with a Surefire mounted on that; it rests under the bed.
