ours here is two 5-6 hour classes
then clean your gun and shoot at a target 7 yrds away and hit it 11/20 times

if you cant hit the target 20/20 times at 7 yrds i dont think you should even have a gun

the target is an average size silhouette its supposed to be an normal human at that distance.. 25 meters meaning 75 feet? thats insanely good 2-3" at that distance with a handgun. youd definitley be fine

Everyone should be required to take a tactical class before getting the permit.

i got an 88, and my GF got a 92. I will never live it down.
    Of course, I used a .40 SIG 229 and she used a Buckmark .22.

Our test was tougher than most. We had to shoot a pistol out to 50 yards. It was a man sized B-27(IIRC)

The Ohio CCW class was cake. I don't even remember a written test and the shooting portion was just making sure you can hit a big cardboard target at 3 yards without shooting yourself in the foot.
