I did a better job cleaning my AR because I wanted to get some pictures before I rebarrel it. Anyway here it is in present form with all the gizmos.

Bushmaster lower with Jard single stage fitted by Rob Melhorn (2 lbs short reset). Lightened bolt carrier, lightened buffer, 18" mid weight rifle lenght gas system barrel, jp comp, jp adj gas block, jp/vtac handguard. long range optic Trijicon accupoint 1x4 variable, short range optic cmore railway 6moa, insight m6 weaponlight (in the correct postion to hit with thumb). Gun shoots flat but it went from 3/4 moa to 1 moa and it's been over 2 years so it's time to rebarrel.

We are required to start with the bipod folded. The para cord lets me drop both legs with one pull.

The weapon light has a friggen laser. I really don't use it. I pulled the weaponlight off a prize table. I got all sorts of flashlights and weaponlights. I pretty much dominate the local night matches. I won every night match for the last 3 years except for one.

    On which gun?

On the AR it's a arredondo magwell. It's suppose to make it easier/faster to make a mag change. The big magwells work well for pistol, I think they are more limited when your using a curved mag like on a AR.

The shotgun has a arredondo ramp for the tech loader sticks.

The pistol has a dawson magwell. Magwells work great for pistol. I have a sub one second reload coming off the belt.

Remington 1100 modified by shawn carlock and rob melhorn set up for open class.

18" vent rib barrel that rob ported similar to a vang comp, mod choke tubes, jp dot sight, arredondo ramp, 10+1 tube. Reloads with tech loaders.

LOL, your in a whole nother' league on this forum with your AR Ray, it'll be like talking German here. I was thinking I would find someone talking smack about your stock by now.
Ray has a sleeper AR that'll outperform most on here.

lol at Flip army. I think I know who you are talking about, Team Hataw? yeah, they roll DEEEEP all wearing STI Techwear shirts, etc to the matches. But there are some good shooters on their squad. We have a smaller squad in comparison here, but there's a Flip contingent up here as well I roll with.

Thought the reflex sight mounted at an angle was odd, but talking smack isn't my style and my AR mostly punches paper targets from a bench, so...

    Just looks a bit weird.

He posted a video of this optics setup in use a short time back. For what the rifle is used for it's a really cool setup.

Why would you cut the 1100 barrel down past the length of the mag tube? Just to decrease weight?

That a 21" barrel. It just looks short because the tube is really really really long. The overall lenght of the shotgun is 62"

That's just one flip squad but it is the largest one. Sometimes they have 20 some odd shooters in one single squad. They are good guys and have some pretty good shooters.
