TR21R has been purchased. I think I'm going to try both it and an aimpoint t1 out and see which feels better to shoot. I'm really eager to get some magnification on my ar though, its always felt wrong to have a reasonably accurate rifle and shoot big groups at 100 yards+

    Thanks for the help yar!

yeah, they are $$$ though. I think they are $200 retail. It is the best mount.

You might be able to get away with some high warne rings if you mounted both rings on the back part of the scope and you mounted it as far forward on the rifle as you could. Would look kind of stupid though it would probably work. You would get your dick stepped on if you posted pics of it on AR-15 though.

Also Hoss would freak out because not enough larue

I'm not in any rush to get it mounted, if you pick one up off a prize table in the next month or two and want to give an OT'er a deal let me know :big grin:

I hear ADM makes good stuff too.

is about $25 less than the larue

plus it really pisses the larue kids off that you bought something from larue's competitor

I'll probably have something later this month. People are getting back from 3 gun nationals and I sell a lot of their stuff for them. I'm kind of the fence of competition shooting in this area.

Going rate for larue mounts is $160

 Sounds good, let me know, I doubt I'll be picking one up before then. I'll just play with the aimpoint for a while first, between aimpoint + larue mount and an accupoint the check book could use a cooling off period. :big grin:

If i'm not mistaken, the scope mounts directly to that, correct? If that's the case, how do you zero your scope with that mount?

since he's in this thread, i'll let him be a bad influence on my AR upper choice.

Yar, What ar upper do you run with that comp and freefloat handguard? Who makes it, what does it cost, and how well does it perform? Since you 3-gun it, I'm guessing it doesn't weigh too much.
Since you're in a fellow AWB state, I'm looking at something to replace what I had to leave behind when I moved to Connecticut. I've always liked your AR setup, minus the tacticool optics.

And Mark himself has not been the most professional on the site concerning the ADR mounts. He really made me not want to buy his stuff, but as you said, its really good stuff so I own three mounts.

I've had both the LaRue and ADM SPR'ish mounts.

No real difference to me. They both worked well.

+1 Mark LaRue (and some of his associates) strike me as asshats sometimes, but his shit is good. Same can be said for a lot of other people though (*cough* AAC guys *cough*)

Yo, we heard you like mounts so we put a mount on your mount, so you can aim while you aim :dunno:
