The motor's red line is 13,750rpm. Gathering parts already.... It lasted 2 weeks with the original drivetrain. As much as I'd like to keep it british powered, its not cost effective and I'm trying to keep the cost of this car under that of a new honda fit. R1 engines can be had for $900 everywhere because so many bikes get wrecked. Anyone wanna buy an Armada? I'm going to start ripping apart the stock subframe and all accessories this week. edit: ordered the kit with LSD, 6 speed reverse, carbon fiber air box etc. edit: ordered the R1 wiring loom and am sending it to the UK to be converted. edit: ordered and installed a bunch of trim pieces, new grill, new emblems, new bumpers, edit: installed new shocks, new Superlite gold wheels, new grill, HID headlights. edit: subframe is on its way, engine is paid for and on its way, need ECU/CDI/power commander and I'm good to go. edit: everythings here, almost. Just waiting on them to finish manufacturing the pull/push reverse/forward cable. 5/10/10 Well found something interesting out today. My car used to be white at some point. Then purple. Now black hard lines Shifter. Adjustable front suspension, everything fresh. Note white and purple paint. Some dipshit actually painted the car with those ugly ass PIAA lights still on the car, just taped off the lens. Motor comes next week. Im going to have my car stereo guy do the dash work, for now the gauges will just sit in the gaping hole until a dash is built. Car is done autocross here I come!
