Gave up weightlifting but still need some supplement help. I cant afford joint meds specifically the chondroitin/glucosamine/msm. ive been getting tripleflex but i really need a cheaper source, something i can get from a pharmacy (not the internet).

Basically i need shit that helps recovery and is good for all around body, nothing to gain muscle or whatever. I used to use sesathin when i was bodybuilding and i liked it. I still got some BCAAs and alcar if the opinion on that is still good...

Also, what tricks you guys use to aid recovery? I take showers like hot-cold soak for a while- hot rinse. I dont know if that's good, but i was told it was.

    What is your specific problem?

Why did you stop lifting, and was it because of this problem?

wait, you cant afford glucosamine, but you are going to use BCAA's? I picked up a bottle of 250 glucosamine/chron pills at costco for ~20

I don't think you were a "body builder."

Fish oil, vitamin C. Glucosamine/chondroitin is meh in my experience...I've used it and not used it and had the same amount of soreness/injuries either way.

Your best bet for recovery procedures: ice after exercise, heat in the evening.
