I might order, but the price is still the same so its kind of pointless
yeah if the price is the same.. why am i going to watch this on the computer
because you dont have a cable box?
i do have a cable box though
I watched a UFC on the online UFC deal, it wasn't bad, my connection was good enough to get decent quality, and I could still watch tv during the interviews with Mandy Moore... Oh and I could pad my post count in the live spoiler thread.
I plan on doing this for ufc 82
how's the quality?
I've never tried a paid stream so I can't tell ya
yahoo streaming is good, but its nothing compared to watching ppv on a tv
they streamed a few strikeforce events and i never had a problem
i still cant imagine the stream being better than HD ppv buy
however i have never seen a yahoo stream @ 1200k
take some screen caps / let us know what its like
the UFC stream was OK.. but it could have been ALOT better. I wish Yahoo could match the HD quality ABC streams.
I don't want to pay 44.95 for an OK stream
Im so in this is the only option I have for a Live PPV
well you could use the free stream, but the quality is BALLS
yeah audio is even out of synch.
Did anyone else purchase the Yahoo! stream??
The quality was fucking awesome.. absolutely no problems with it
I would do it for $20
but not for the full PPV price
nope, I don't
I just can't justify a $40 card to watch on my computer by myself, I might as well go out for that much
I can drop $40 on a card, but I don't feel like I should unless I can watch it on a big TV
The stream was very good quality, loaded up very rapidly, looked great on my projector. One great thing is that you can continue to watch it for 24 hours after the event (more like 27 hours, really) and they even kind of seperated it into the individual fights, and you could skip around wherever you wanted pretty quickly, which was great and I don't think you can do with normal PPV (unless you DVR).
As previously stated, I don't have cable or a tv, I just have my computer hooked up to a projector, which only does 480p, but does it BIG.
