Aw, man, got shafted by 18 minutes :p

It was a really great ending to a fantastic series. BKV sure as hell did one hell of a job writing this. The rest of the creative teams are absoloutely fucking awesome as well.

Now i just wish they would put out a book with all the covers. The covers were seriously one of the biggest reasons i started collecting the books :o

At first I was like "What? Come on!", but it turned out to be be pretty good. Probably as well as it could possibly have been done.

I was quite satisfied. Well worth the wait. And the thread I made about it like two weeks ago, well worth that also. Some things were weird though, like beth and hero hooking up. kinda want a miniseries here in the future to clear that shit up...

it was a fitting ending for the book. i still need to catch up with the whole middle 30+ issues tho. i first started reading the series at like issue #50-something, then after getting hooked, i started back from the beginning with the trades. kinda wished i finished reading the entire run b4 getting to the finale so i could get the full effect, but that last issue still packed a wallop

The last panel was very fitting. The Beth/Hero thing came outta left field though.

It was great that all of his clones were helpful, "100 monkeys and they still can't get him right."

That's EXACTLY how I felt, reading it. At first I thought it was going to be a horrible idea, but it was magnificent by the last page.
