Who when installing their sights constantly checked it before putting the thread locker on it to make sure it was centered ?

That said mine slipped right in. No filing required.

Yes, I was OCD about it. Also check and re-checked the front sight to make sure it wasn't cocked to one side.

Had to send Ming's XD to the smith for install after I gave up. I bent a brass punch trying to remove the front sight. :p

My Hi-Power I successfully changed out the sights easily, but the Big Dots were so snug I thought I didn't need the Loctite. Whatever. At Fighting Pistol when the gun was hot they fell out. Fortunately we had an XS rep there and he re-installed them for me. :o

I installed mine last week, used lock-tite on the front sigte and shot about 300 rounds and the rear sight stayed put. I'm gunna put it on paper tomorrow before I lock-tite it

I have no idea what the filing noise is. They slipped into my Glock like fingering Jenna Jameson.

I have em on my carry gun, love them. Different to get used to, but after awhile they're great.

Installed XS 24/7 Big dots on a couple of my Glocks with no problems whatsoever. Actually thought it was real easy.

And those big dots, hands down, have the fastest, easiest to acquire front sight on the market - - just what you want in most SD situations.

I had to do some filing on mine so they'd fit but it wasn't a big deal, it took maybe 10 minutes. And yea I checked the center of the rear site probably 10 times. :hsugh:

I used to believe the same thing until I had to file on a couple of sets to get them to fit. XS says it is Glock letting the dimensions of the rear sight float too much. I have no idea. I do know that rear sight wasn't going in without some serious filing.
