Repost of my posts from other forums, and the car was only spot-on clean for the first 2 (though I didn't really detail it this round). The others are with half a week of driving dirt on it, but IMO they look pretty damn nice anyway. So enjoy OT:

    <Begin>

Tein S-Tech springs, Matrix XRS 17's, otherwise stock. Just put em on and washed her up so I figured I'd snap a couple quick pics. Proper shoot coming later.

IMO it could use a little more sidewall, so I'll probably go to either a 225 (vs 215) or a 50 vs. 45 profile for the next set. These 215/45 proxies came with em so eh...no problem there. Sticks like glue now (but they're loud).

    ----------------------------------------

May as well post this..this is a year and a half ago, the first week I had it.

I chopped them in prior to buying the car (and loved the look) but it wasn't cost effective to do when I did...so I did it now, when my OE tires ran out.

    ----------------------------------------

Decided to snap a few more, now with custom A95 exposure trickery! (A couple didn't turn out too well, but I like the angles of them anyway). Some choppage could fix them up but this isn't the fotoforam so who cares.

    corolla S :mamoru:

isnt it just a body kit and emblems?

but reasonably speaking, looks good for a corolla :wavey2:

not to offend you or anything

but what on earth made you want to mod that thing?

80% of asian moms drive that car

It's hardly a 'mod'...it's a styling issue. Personally I think it looks awesome as it is now vs. merely alright stock. It's not getting riced, and I know damn well it's not fast.

My Tbird is the weekend fun car.

This is a 30-40MPG daily (if not better) that'll run for a billion miles, be cheep to maintain, and hold value better than anything on the road near it's price. It may as well look slick while I put 600 miles a week on it (because I do). Right?

...and the rims/tires you see cost me $150 TOTAL (plus another $130 for the springs).

I think it looks very good. It's still very stock looking and clean.

hey now corollas arent that bad of a car. drifting was born from a corolla. but really nice S how much did you pay for your teins? i gotta buy mine someday. but yea corollas arent meant to be fast but if you play with one long enough. it will get there. currently our vp is tryin to get his to run faster and its only at 15.4 @ 90 with n2o and intake/exhaust but hey its a start for a car that is "driven by 80% asian moms" but sadly...alot of people drive corollas nowaday due to the good gas mileage and good economy. i bet half the cars we see on the road will break down before any of our 9th gen corollas.

Respectable..but the point is he'd have to throw 10 grand into that thing to make it actually haul, and would defeat most of the benefits of the car in the first place (reliability, milage, cost of maintinance). Fact is even stock, the car is as quick as a car NEEDS to be (not hurting for merging power and can get up any hill at the limit and then some, etc.).

    If not more

I should also point out the car is now packin a Clarion 9675 Head, iPod interface, PPI PC6600.2, Boston Pro 6.5's and a pair of Boston Pro 12.5LFs...I'm working on boxes for the subs (going to flush them into the kick-outs on either side of the trunk so I don't give up my pass-through. Amp is hanging from the rear deck on a cool lexan shelf. Just scored a DSLR so nice pics of it all will be forthcoming when done...and after a proper detailing.

eighteen_psi, will Sion TC 17s fit on a 05 Rolla? I'm trying to convice my friend to get the springs and 17s for his 05' S. Where did you find your Matrix rims?

With S-techs they'll look just like mine...only...like those rims :hsugh:
I've seen a silver tC with the XRS 17's on it so I'm fairly certain they're interchangable. I considered a set I found on craigslist locally on the cheep (of the tC's) but I decided they wouldn't work well on the red car..and I'm glad I held off. I found my 17's on a Matrix forum from some dude who wrecked is XRS :mamoru:

easily the cleanest looking modern corolla ive ever seen. :bigthumb:

from this angle, the lines in the side profile/waistline of the car look a lot like an IS300 :o
