GREAT DEAL for $100. But a better CPU is a must these days, at least a 2500+.

    I have my 2500+ Barton OC'd to a 3200+ (190FSB) with a 9700 Pro and it owns. IT OOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSS!

lol...190FSB. I got 260FSB 1:1 with my mobile 2600+, then my PC threw up and now it hates me. 24/7 240FSB 1:1 to keep it cool.

hmm...$100 is basically just paying for the vid card and not the CPU. but it's a good deal to your friend i think. my friends have money, so i know i could at least get $125. Try more if you dare...

Than why didn't you indicate it... You have to post more clearly next time.
It is an alright price..but I would be getting a whole new comp if I was him.

depends on the stepping of the 1700+

i run a 1700+ OCd to 2.5 Ghz and a 6800GT (well, i did until my water cooling leaked and friend my AGP slot  )

but yeah, its not a bad combo as the GPU has more affect on games then the CPU would.

Dude, my new Chaintech 7NIL1 doesn't support VCore adjustments, but my old Asus A7N8X-X did.

I got the 7NIL1 because I want an mATX "bread box" PC and this was the best mATX mobo I could find :hs:.

wouldn't be looking for performance from a board that doesn't even support vcore adjustment lol. but if you just want it to run, im sure it's fine.
