I have 2 comps both running XP on them. They are both hooked up to a hub. And both running the Xp firewall. I want to keep using this firewall - I hate the add ons.

Now the problem is everytime I want to share a file between the 2 comps I have to turn off both firewalls. This burns my ass!!

    Any help?

all of my XP systems (running the XP Firewall) communicate just fine without deactivating the firewall :dunno:

Do you have any ports open to do that?

not that I'm aware of.... I didn't even configure the firewall aside from enabling it with default settings.

I'm behind a router and still use the XP firewall... I figure if nothing else, it makes my computer twice as hard to hack.
