With all the hoopla going around about Google hacking the hell out of the browsers using technologies like Javascript and XmlHttpRequest for Gmail and Maps, has anyone been experimenting with XmlHttpRequest? I recently incorporated it into a section of my website and really like the results. I was able to get MVC using XHTML/Javascript/CSS (view), web services (controller), and C# code (model) and it's proving to be a good way to architect my site. This, like many of you I’m sure, is the way I learn new stuff and come up with my “proof of concepts” for work projects.

hmmm, haven't really messed with that yet. I use WebClient class in .NET pretty often however. Any reference to the google stuff you speak of? I've been out of the development loop lately
