I really don't need another monthly bill.

    XM is pretty cool, though.

How about financing a lifetime XM subscription ($250) into a car note on a new vehicle that comes equipped with the hardware?

    I think that's a cool idea.

Just throwing that # out there... I don't believe they even have lifetime subscriptions available (like Tivo does).

    2 years: $200
    3 years: $300
    4 years: $400
    5 years: $500

And that's only for one radio. If you want to listen on another radio, that'll be anextra $7/month.

I'd love to have XM in my car, but to me it's not worth a third of what they're charging.

No, there's no lifetime service anyting, you can pay for 5 years up front for like 500 bucks, or 4 years or 3 etc, its all on their website.

About getting around paying for it, i dont think its gonna happen, bc you have to register your radio code with XM, and then they transmit a signal to activate it or soemting. DOnt really know.

this is just what i've heard but never tried :hs:

pay for it for a month, cancel it, never turn it on again.

wait a month, they'll stop sending out the cancel signal so it will then be safe to turn on your radio again

I dont there is such a thing as an XM headunit Saint, you'd still have to buy the tuner ~100 and the antenna ~60, to make your XMready HU work.

You just don't get it because you're a stupid mother fucker. It costs $10 a month and tv is free but you still pay for it.

All you gotta do is take the equipment out and install it in the other car. No need to cancle.
