How do they compare in size? What do you like about each gun (advantages of one over another). I am looking at a new gun for carry, and both guns are getting great reviews. I really like the XD Compact, but I have yet to handle the HK so I can't compare the two. If I can't decide, I may have to buy both, and that would just be horrible. A side by side pic would be great if anyone has both. Thanks.

One of my good friends just got a USPC in .40, that gun is so sexy. I've never handled a XD though so I can't compare them. The USP is definetly a sweet gun.

is there a budget cause the XD is going to be a lot cheaper... which leaves money for a quality holster and more ammo.

but shoot them both, as well as others, then make your decision.

I'd get the XD and save the money for ammo. I shot a coworker's HK and after handing my Glock I couldn't stand the trigger reset on the HK.

    Uh, well....yeah.

Of those two, I'd take the HK. Mostly because I prefer them to the XD.
