I have a friend who owns an XD9. I want to get him something for it as a gift. I was thinking a new set of sights. Any other ideas? What do you guys have on your XD?

be nice now. no reason to be mean to owners of inferior XD's.. they just need some guidance. :o

  5. Shit I carry an XD9 on me everyday, and yes it has rust on the slide, fuck it gunkote fixes everything. Probly have 3k rounds through this guy with no malfunctions yet. I do enjoy cleaning the rust off it at my desk though.

I'm a little leary of the 22# on a 9mm. Just a little too strong.

I figure you'd be getting some FTE's with that :dunno:

hell, with my makarov, I switched from a 17# to a 19#, and if I limpwrist it just a little bit, it will FTE.. i might put the 17# back in

failure to eject.. the slide will come back too fast because of the high spring tension, and will catch the empty brass between the chamber and the slide

like so.. but of course with an empty shell..

This should be a lesson to as why you should just buy a gun thats perfect out of the box coughglockcoughwalthercough :mamoru:

Krotts original suggestion sounds good, unless you know all his personal tastes its hard to figure out what other accessories he would like. Depending what your looking to spend maybe a light? :dunno:

Yeah because everyone knows no one buys parts for their glocks.. isnt it a popular upgrade to ditch the PLASTIC guide rod?

no, my guide rod is fine :dunno:
