Curious to know where you carry at (as in on your persons) and what type of holster you use.
I have a xd-9 sc and carry at about 2 o'clock with a galco m7x matrix(owb) But I can't wear it with anything less than a big shirt or a jacket or else I print. I need to get an IWB.
Tucker Heritage or Milt Sparks VersaMax II on my hip (sometimes just a Don Hume 715 when rushing to the store)
or a Galco Jackass for under coat or overshirt.
May try a kydex iwb down the road just to see how it feels. Looking at the C-Tac and it's just too much going on for me. Their Gurkha model looks better with that outrigger.
FIST supposedly makes some good ones. I'm just not sure how hard plastic is going to feel instead of leather.
NM on the FIST, they don't use simple clips so no good for me.
i dont carry really..but when i walk my dog, etc i carry at about 430 with a protech iwb
the FIST K4 feels realllllllly nice and the xd9 sits really low, just the grip sticking out. i <3 it, but there's not much to it and its hard to shell out 60$ for it :hs;
I like to be able to remove the holster without having to undo my belt. No clip, no care.
i carry right behind the hip @ 5 o'clock. Depending on what I wear I'll use either a cheap don hume iwb or a owb kydex
I had some plastic hip holder for my 40. (forget the brand)
carry my .45 ultra compact now.. xd was too big
wtf simple clips. I have a FIST clipped on right now.
I carry at about 3:30 - 4:00 in a CTAC with Standard clips.
.........but soon to be a Threat Solutions UCR, whenever the damn thing gets here. Its already been 3 weeks, and they said today that it would be another couple of weeks.
I looked through their website and all they showed as options were belt loops, plastic or leather. What model you have? IWB?
4 o'clock with a predator kydex IWB. It's always gotten the job done, but it doesn't have adj. cant. So I've been looking for a new one. I really like the CTAC, but It looks like there is so much to the holster that it makes it uncomfortable. I need to try one on I guess.
It's not too bad, a little bit akward for me, just cause I have no meat on my bones. If I end up liking the Threat Solutions, I will sell you the CTAC, It's for XD9 SC, right handed, standard clips, for 1.5" belt.
#43, IWB/OWB.. slots for OWB, clip for IWB.
Its a close cropped #8 with a clip.
id say around 4 oclock. XD45ACP with a Desantis iwb for a glock 30
R Olson IWB double loop at 5oclock
Cool. I'll try one on to see if I like them. I don't have much meat on me either.
probably more than I do.
Check out crossbreedholsters.com They're more comfortable than the C.T.A.C. and just as nice as the answer but for half the price. Mark is a great guy too and stands behind his products.
I just ordered one a few weeks ago... I can't wait to get it.
is that a 4" or a 5"?
any word on his SOB model?
It looks cool, site appears good too.
I have a shitty fabric holster that I carry SOB with, Works well but isnt as tight as I would like it to be.
It's a 4 inch barrel Steyr, though.
Ok, found the #43 kydex version. Fist. I am just not real big on the single clipon models like that one or my Don Hume.
I am going to order this one from Comp Tac tonight I think.
After using holsters with outriggers for stability like the Tucker or my VersaMax, it's so much more comfortable and secure than the 715.
Uncle Mikes IWB at 4:00
