    First time in this forum.

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a 12" powerbook but when I went to BestBuy yesterday just to look around, I was heavily impressed by the X-Brite PC monitors.

You think there's any chance Apple will integrate this into their laptops? :x:
    If so, then I'll wait.

They might eventually, but I don't care if they don't. I had the Dell 700m, which had probably one of the nicest XBrite screens (12" widescreen, higher resolution + the XBrite) and now have a 15" PB. I don't miss the XBrite at all.

I have an XBRITE Sony... S-260... very nice. I love the screen. I have to say thought I would no issues using an Apple lappy. I love their screens aswell, very easy on the eyes.

So you think Apple actually makes their LCDs?

The chances of them entering a deal with Sony is very slim, but not out of the question.
