10mg of prozac and 1mg xanax. Does that do any harm to your muscles?

  2. What are they prescribed for?

    *edit*
    1mg? :wtf:

I've had some experience with drugs of these types. They didnt affect my lifting at all, and probably left me with more motivation to actually lift and workout.

I did find they completely destroyed my appetite though :hs:

I know a day after poppin a couple valium,I feel pretty sluggish. Xanax would have a similar effect. But, depending on when you take it, with it's short half-life it might already be eliminated.

If you're taking it every day for legit medical purposes you'd probably be used to it and it wouldn't impact your lifting much.

But theres no way I would want to lift after taking that.

seems like I'd be a little too f'd up to lift at full capacity...

I prefer to be sober when I lift :dunno:

You build up a tolerance to benzos pretty quick so if he's taking it daily he probably wouldn't notice any difference.

Valium acts as a skeletal muscle relaxer so I'd definitely avoid those before lifting though :p

Benzo WD can kill you if you're not extremely careful. But i'm pretty sure he knows all this if he's actually prescribed the stuff for anxiety.

So yeah you have nothing to worry about as far as it effecting your lifting. You should be good to go.

I could use a bar right about now.

Prozac will actually have positive effects being as it effects seratonin levels it will put you "in the zone" and give you the urge to push your self a little more due to the good mood.

Or you could stop being a pussy.

What are you talking these for ? Getting off an anxiolytic is always a good idea, maybe you should look into antidepressants which have long term effects on anxiety (depending on what your problems are) and also cognitive-behavioral therapy with a psychologist.
