The opening sequence alone was better than most of the Matrix: Reloaded, I sincerely thought that the Matrix: Reloaded was just an extended version of "the matrix", nothing new. I can't believe they said that it took 2 years of CGI for the freeway sequence. It wasn't that impressive at all, I saw at least 10 OLDSMOBILE's, same car, over and over and over. X-men 2 met and exceeded my expectations. I think that Reloaded was over hyped while they kept the plot of X-men 2 more secretive. Your thoughts?

No, they didn't take two years for the CGI highway scene. This movie was suppose to be released last year, but then Aliyah died and they hadn't finished filming her parts. So they had to find a new actress and go back and reshoot all the parts with her in them.

i wouldn't say that this thread exactly classified as SPOILERS, because all I said was there were a lot of oldsmobiles in the chase scene. Everyone has seen the sneak previews of different shots of the same thing. I didn't spoil anything.

    I agree......... Xmen2 rocked!!!

Reloaded seemed like it was just dragged on for too long. CGI was excellent, but the movie itself wasn't the best.

I like x-men better, matrix is kinda convoluted, fight scene were typical asian kung fu, nothing special.
Its overhyped, and they gave away too much from the spoilers.
