oK, so I got a new 93' Honda Civic Lx the other week.... Its nice an all, perfect interior, etc. etc. Well, I noticed that my car overheats when I hit aprx. 70MPH, but yet will cool when I hit 65..... So I thought possibly thermatstat, so I changed the thermatstat, but the problem persisted.. So I was like ok $80 an I can bring it to the Mechanic n he'll diagnos my problem n alll... So I bring it to the mechnic he checks it out n all, he has every damn mechanic in the shop look at it an check everything they can think off.. No one can figure out what the fucks wrong an I'm freaking out cuz' I need to be able to drive on the highway.>!>!>!>!>!!!!! HELP Me someone please...

Pop your radiator cap and look for air bubbles while revving the motor.......indication of a blown head gasket.

did you use a honda thermostat or aftermarket? our experience is that all aftermarket ones are a waste of time.

    So no-go on thermostat..........

Did he/you bleed the coolant system correctly? Possible bubble?

If you speed up above 70, does it still overheat? If you drive hard at slower speeds, does it overheat? Does the needle on the guage just slowly rise up, or does it jump up quickly? Stay at full-hot?
