wtf, wierd problem

    for some reason i can't go to gmail, my bank, my school website, anything that is secure i can't get on, but i dont have a firewall and i didnt mess with any setting, anyone know what the problem could be

    You're being a little vague with what exactly is happening, but if you are using IE try resetting your browser settings and clear your temporary Internet files...

    its with all 3 browsers, firefox, opera, and ie i can go to any website, except ones that need passwords, i'm guessing HTTPS. sites.

    You aren't using a program called peer guardian, are you?

    I had a similar issue last week, and getting rid of it fixed my problem.

    Just figured I'd ask...

    What do you mean "can't go to" the sites. What prevents you from accessing them?

    "Page cannot be displayed" - site error?
    "URL not found" - browser thinks site doesnt exist?
    "404 Error" - site error?
    "Access Denied" - possible block from...well...anything?
    Computer bursts into flames?
    montior goes blank after you enter site?

    symptoms are pretty vague. what is the actual message you get, if any?

    its all my browsers, but if i get on my brothers computer i can get on my bank and stuff

    you do, but running the batch file from a command prompt will prompt you

    or you could pipe the y to each line, but meh
