ok so i did a google search for "edictionary reader pocket pc", got the results, went to click on one of the websites and safari crashed. now everytime i open safari it crashes about 5 seconds after. it never even pulls up my google home page

ive restarted, turned it off and back on, and repaired permissions

    any ideas?

is there a way to install only safari again?

i've been having problems with Safari too.. it bogs down a lot and then crashes. sometime, even when just surfing OT it uses over 300 MB of ram.

Nope, just open a Finder window, search for "Safari plist" and delete the plist file.

you can always try resetting safari from the "safari" menu

but backup your bookmarks first. i think it is a clean install

    fixed it

took the folder of ~Jason/Library/Safari out of finder and put it on the desktop
    opened safari
moved bookmarks.plist to new ~Jason/Library/Safari that was created upon opening
    deleted old folder from desktop

    works fine now

Every time that happens to me I delete the history file in finder and it seems to work.
